FC
Ireland founded in 1994 has built a Club dedicated to the
highest pursuit of soccer in the Sacramento valley and is
again ramping up for this year’s California Central
Soccer League campaign. Come and join the Club as we practice
weekly on Thursdays and prepare for the next weeks game on
Sunday.
We also have our fair share of fun after the games, just
take a look at our sponsors!
Mission Statement:
FC Ireland will promote fair play, sportsmanship and
honor through the Club in all levels of soccer. Further FC
Ireland will strive to be a fully sponsored Club. FC Ireland
will have a management team and coaches to grow
prospects within the Club with the goal of achieving the
best results for the Club and the Clubs sponsors.
Rules governing the Club:
Fair play (Bréa Imeart), Sportsmanship
(Fear Cothrom Galánta) and Honor (Honora) are to be
hallmarks of the Club. Failure to support the Club or its
efforts as determined by the General Manager will be cause for
dismissal from the Club.
Responsibility is up to the individual as it relates to Club
functions, Club uniforms and equipment, practices and games.
Email lists and current website will be avenues of
information. Players without access can call the General
Manager or the Coaches.
Benefits of belonging to the FC Ireland Club:
Professionally ran soccer operations
Passionate support for all venues related to soccer
Support from the Club and sponsors
Paid league fees based upon skill level of play
Top notch uniforms, based upon league play
Promotion opportunities to other top level Clubs

Sam Singh was passionate about soccer, his dog, Scooby, and his
new grandson, Jared.
He put other people first and never rested in his work as
president of the Central California Soccer League, family and
friends said. Mr. Singh, who had a heart attack while refereeing
a soccer game in 2004, was in a coma for more than three years
before dying Sunday. Mr. Singh was 58.
Rest in Peace friend - he was my first coach in the CCSL with
"Brothers United" which is still going strong after
all these years. He was the 'voice' on the CCSL hotline...
Current 3 year overall record in the CCSL:
34 wins / 11 losses / 15 ties as of end of 2006/07
