Week 1

Dixon Leon #2 - away Final 3-3 - pitch AWFUL with 2 sets of lines (blue and white) and very uneven surface with gravel infill, to even out the dirt patches. Large enough, unlike Roterville Park.

Play of the day: Philips 3 touch goal from 37yrds with the outside of his right foot
Man of the Match: Mike Bonev. With his equalizing goal in the 92nd minute, after coming back from a yellow card foul in which he took a straight kick to the 'jewels', by beating the tackle of the keeper

Titanics - Home Final 2-1 - pitch GREAT of course it is OUR house!

Man of the Match: Rick Holland lead a solid effort off the back line only allowing 6 shots all game from a pressuring midfield

Davis United - Away Final 2-0 - pitch AWFUL - rock hard, dirt and gravel and of course is only 90yrds
Fouls: DU - 2 yellows, same player ejected FCI - none
Goals: None

Play of the day: The entire midfield in the first half, as DU had no answer and could not mount an attack
Man of the Match: None
FCI dominated for 80 minutes of the game in ALL categories and out shooting DU 5 to 1 but could not buy a goal, but their only 3 shots in the second half netted 2 goals at 60 & 65 minutes

Week 4

Central Valley - home Final 1-1 - no result - pitch a bit wet -

Club Salmantino - rescheduled - no field due to youth tournament

Week 10

Benfica - away Final 6-0 -  pitch rough and pitted - Southside Park along with dirt on the infield

Primero de Mayo - Southside Final 1-1 -  pitch rough and pitted - at least it was green and dry

Play of the day: Idwings' goal - great finish off the free kick, low and hard.
Man of the Match: Idwings, besides the goal, his play on both sides of the half line were consistent Honest effort from the back line again that only allowed 2 recorded shots, both coming in the last 15 mins

FC Azores - home (Granite Park) Final 7-2 -  pitch a bit rough, but full sized - very windy

Play of the day: Foad's first goal for the Club! - Of the 7 goals scored Foad had by far the best reaction
Men of the Match: Micah Howser  (3 goals) & the entire back line again that only allowed 3 recorded shots (all in the first half),  5 assists and 1 goal: Mike Ruddy, Mike McGuffin, Shaun Ruddy, Foad Ahmadi

Play of the day: The total dominance of the D line which only allowed 2 shots. Shaun / Mike M / Bryan / Mike H / Foad and Tomas in the net
Man of the Match: Idwings Silva for his goal and solid defensive play for the entire 90 minutes.

Week 16

Sporting II - Southside Final 9-0 -  pitch rough and pitted - at least it was green and dry
Fouls: Sprt- 1 yellow  FCI - Mike Holland - yellow
Goals: Micah  - 3, Phil - 2  - with assists from: Marco, Sebastian, Micah, Mike H, Idwings

Play of the day: Lifting of the Southside curse! AND Tomas' goal of course!- Finally Phil, Ryan and Micha unleash the shots. All 3 of our forwards score at least 2 and Micha with the 'Hattie'
Man of the Match: Marco Neves for his consistent play in his first full game back from injury. Solid mention to Bryan Holland in his first full game, in a patchwork back line that allowed no recorded shots.

Week 17

Dixon Leon II - Southside Final 2-1 -  pitch rough and pitted - at least it was green and dry

Goals: Phil (2) with assists from Micah and Shaun

Play of the day: Shaun winning the ball and slotting a great thru ball to Phil on the dead run for the game winner - oh and Phil buried the shot! and it WAS at Southside to boot! "what would Phil do?"
Man of the Match: Phil with 2 goals on 4 shots and solid play up top running down the defenders and forcing turnovers off their back line all day.

Week 18

Titans - Gridley Final 3-0 -  grass not too bad - very narrow layout and maybe only 100yrds long
Fouls: Titans- 3 yellows 1 Red  FCI -3 yellows (Idwings/Bryan/Mike R) tough game on both sides of the ball. Ref would have done well to take some aside early on in the game instead of the 7 cards
Goals: Micah (Phil assist) Bryan opens his account (Todd assist) and Micah forced an O.G.

Play of the day: The total dominance of the D line which only allowed 1 shot against the Group Leaders & Tomas came up HUGE on a 1v1 at the top of the box to break up a sure goal. Shaun / Mike R / Bryan / Foad in the back line.
Man of the Match: Marco showed what it takes to 'leave it ALL on the field' after getting hacked all day and going down hard twice, still had a HUGE day in the middle and did not loose a single header despite being shorter most every time. All this and starting the day with a bum ankle.

Week 19

Davis Utd - Orangevale Final 0-0 -  grass not too bad  - fresh markings and plenty big enough
Fouls: DU- 2 yellows  FCI -3 yellows (Sebastian/Phil/Mike R) We outshoot them 2-1 and can not find the back of the net in the rain. Bryan goes to the hospital with a dislocated shoulder.
Goals: NONE

Play of the day: Tomas' leaping reaction save that ended up with him wrapped around the post. Shout out to Idwings for another solid effort in the midfield
Man of the Match: Tomas for coming up BIG with 3 monster saves to record his second straight clean sheet in a row and his first solo award for man of the match
